Earlier today I met up with a bunch of colleagues from the [b]school. It’s an online social network of professional photographers. Since we we’re all located around So Cal, we got together to shoot each others’ headshots. Many of us, especially me, needed updated headshots for websites, blogs, avatars, etc. We meet up at South Pasadena Public Library to shoot around the area. We walked around behind buildings, in alley ways, the Rialto Theater, and such places.
We shot so many pictures of each other; we had great luscious light and a good time. It took some getting used to being the one getting their picture taken, but after a while it was no big thang! I’m posting pictures of everyone else until I get my pictures from everyone. I will post some of mine soon!
First we have Heidi Ryder, soaking up the great light. It was easy to shoot Heidi thanks to her inviting smile and easy-going personality.

Joel Llacar, yes another Joel. This Joel just didn’t look like “Joel” without his smile and laugh to go with it. Really cool guy, and an awesome website, by the way!

Next we have Lisa Scarsi, she was working the scene! I tried to make her smile some more, but sometimes we have to work the more relaxed image. And that’s exactly what we did.

Araxi Dertavitian was must have copyrighted a dozen poses this afternoon. She brought the ideas and she brought the smiles too. Araxi did very well in front of the camera!

Last but not least, because she technically was the first volunteer for headshots, Jenny Hsieh. She saved all of us by offering to organize all of our pictures and send them to us. What a trooper, and she always ready to jump into the next pose first.

Good times, I really enjoyed this shoot! I hope to keep this a regular event among fellow [b]schoolers and colleagues. Thanks to everyone who came out and participated, it took some guts to get in front of five photographers shooting away like there was no tomorrow.
